Care Packages for the Troops - Kidz Fun At Rell's House

It was when one of our close friends got deployed to Afghanistan to go into the danger zone, that this really was too close to home. He mentioned to me about a care package that he received while there. It was from a school boy that wrote a letter in his package, thanking the soldier for keeping Australia safe. This motivated me to talk to the children about it and make up some care packages. One of the children who attends our family day care dads is over there for 6 months. I put in returned envelopes, hoping that they may be able to say hi back to us, and so far we have 2. It's a real thrill to know that we made a little difference in someone's life that day, and they smiled while unpacking their surprise package.
