HAPPY 30TH BIRTHDAY MAITLAND FAMILY DAY CARE.

Five Star Family Day Care Maitland celebrated two special events with a family fun day at Rutherford High School on Sunday.

The day kicked off 2016 National Family Day Care Week and was a celebration of the 30th birthday.

Wet weather forced a last minute venue change from Walka Water Works to Rutherford High School, but many still turned out to enjoy the festivities. Our service would like to personally thank the Princpal Mike Whiting for allowing the event to occur in his schools facilicates

Assistant manager of the day care scheme, Jenelle Ycas said around 300 people attended, making the most of the free activities on offer.

The day involved a sausage sizzle, jumping castle, face painting, cake cutting and petting zoo, which Ms Ycas said was the most popular activity.

The kids also had their photos taken with star cutouts, to recognise the theme for this year’s National Family Day Care Week, ‘every child is a star.’
