More than just Cable Reels

At April's FDC

In early childhood settings, “loose parts mean alluring beautiful, found objects and materials that children can move, manipulate, control and change while they play.”

Children can turn these objects into anything they desire and they encourage collaboration, co-operation, social competence and innovation.

At April’s today these children stacked the cable reels, while gaining a deeper knowledge of gravity, force, weight, distance, height, balance, colour, classification and spatial awareness.
