Today the fire service paid a visit to "Sunny Side Kids" fdc service. The fire fighters gave a brief talk to the grownups and the children about fire safety, especially in the kitchen. The children were reminded that in the case of a fire to “Get down low and GO GO GO.”
Everyone was excited to see the fire truck, so Virna blew the whistle for a fire drill and we headed out of the gate, holding hands, practicing a fire drill as we went!
The children sat on the grass and patiently took turns having a turn of the hose. Some children even sat in the front seat of the fire truck.
